Q: Is your company able to build a customized desalination system that has the capability to meet the needs of each independent region/country that it will service?
A:  Yes our systems are custom built to maximize the resources that are available for each given area.

Q:  How can officials for your company be contacted?
A:  Refer to the company website and look under contact information.

Q:  Aesthetically desalination plants have been unattractive and cumbersome for residents.  What does your company do to address this issue?
A:  We have eliminated land use for our system except for whatever water tanks will be required.

Q:  Will we be selling the technology or providing the service?
A:  We will be selling the system and the service rather than licensing.

Q:  What is the cost per liter?
A:  Cost per liter is a variable that we cannot compute until we have more information. In the case of desalinated water our goal is to match or nearly math the cost of providing fresh water. The variables come in due to distance, elevation, water current speed and what chemicals the local district decides to include into the desalinated water. BUT basically the cost will be the cost will be about the same as pumping of fresh water.  Our Alternative Energy systems offer a lower initial cost and far lower operating cost providing the same results at a current cost ratio of 1/8 to 1/2 with a wider gap developing as time accrues because we have no energy cost to operate the system.

Q:  What is the necessary depth that the system needs to operate?
A:  For the AES River-Filtration System 4 to 6 feet
A:  The AES Desaliation System requires at least 65 feet of depth to operate.

Q:  Will boats activity interfere with the operation of the system?
A:  The system will be below the depth of most ships at 65 feet, it can be placed deeper if necessary.

Q:  Will the system be affected by sea storms?
A:  It will not need to be situated in a certain way so that it is not be affected by sea storms

Q:  In what way will the system need to be manned in order to run properly?
A:  It does not need to be continuously manned.  It will require maintenance once a year. A barge tends to it at the surface and does whatever maintenance is required in several hours.  Incorporated in each system is an early warning system to inform us (AES) of any irregularities so we can service the system before a problem actually occurs, therefore FIXING the problem BEFORE it happens. We partnered with a company that makes a monitoring system that will call us by phone if there are any system issues. If a sudden problem would occur that circumvented a warning period the service personnel would still be informed of the problem and what the problem was so they could respond more rapidly and with more accurate information to correct the issue.

Q:  What water currents are needed for the system operate?
A:  The system will operate down to ½ MPH but each time water speed is doubled out put is increased by a factor of 8. For example from 3 mph to 6 mph water speed, the power output is increased by 8 times that of 3 mph.  The Positive Displacement Pump (PDP) is one of the unique capabilities of this system.  The PDP physically draws water into its chamber than pushes that same water out a different opening for whatever use is required. Unlike a fluted, varied, turbine or other pump that draws through speed, the PDP does not require a certain speed. It works at any speed but particularly well at lower speeds.  The advantage of the PDP is its ability to utilize the high torque slow speed produced by the Water Current Generator (WCG). It is a more efficient pump meaning less energy waste as well.

Q:  In deep waters will the system will be anchored?
A:  The system is always anchored. The method depends upon the bottom and the current speeds as well as if the currents change direction.

Q:  Will waves affect the system?
A:  Waves will not affect the system.  It is installed at least 65 feet in depth.
